Dentofacial deformities

Dentofacial deformity, also known as dentomaxillofacial deformity, refers to deformities of the teeth, jawbones, and craniofacial structures caused by congenital genetic factors or acquired environmental factors during a child's growth and development. It mainly manifests as abnormal relationships between the upper and lower jawbones, and between other craniofacial bones, as well as systemic functional abnormalities.
