Temporomandibular joint disorder

Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJD), also known as temporomandibular joint dysfunction syndrome, is not a single disease. It is a general term for a group of diseases with similar or identical clinical symptoms, whose etiology is not yet fully understood. This condition is common in young and middle-aged women aged 20-40, and recent studies have shown that it is also not uncommon in adolescents.
