Pulp necrosis is a condition where the dental pulp dies, resulting from various types of pulpitis or due to trauma or irritation to the pulp.
In its early stages, pulp necrosis often presents with no obvious subjective symptoms. In later stages, the main manifestations include darkening, yellowing, or dullness of the tooth crown, and a diminished sensation to cold and heat stimuli.
