Lip cancer

Lip cancer is primarily squamous cell carcinoma, with adenocarcinoma being rare. It commonly occurs on the lower lip, often at the vermilion border mucosa between the middle and outer one-third of the lower lip. Early signs include a herpes-like crusted mass or localized mucosal thickening, followed by the appearance of a crater-like ulcer or a cauliflower-like mass.
