Laryngeal cancer

Laryngeal cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the larynx and is one of the most common head and neck malignancies. The larynx is the human vocal organ and a passage for air, food, and water to enter and exit the body. It consists of three parts: the glottis, supraglottis, and subglottis. Laryngeal cancer mostly occurs in people over 40 years old, with a higher incidence in males. Common symptoms include hoarseness, sore throat, and persistent cough.
