Hearing loss

Hearing loss refers to a hearing level below normal due to various causes. Hearing loss is not a disease itself, but rather a symptom caused by certain related conditions. The ear structure is divided into the outer ear, middle ear, and inner ear. Some factors can affect the transmission of sound from the outer ear to the inner ear, leading to hearing loss. These factors include infection, poisoning, genetics, tumors, underlying health conditions, and environmental factors. The following situations may indicate the presence of hearing loss: Difficulty understanding others' speech, especially in noisy environments. Reluctance to participate in conversations. No response to greetings from people around them. Frequently asking others to repeat instructions or conversation content during a dialogue. Speaking louder than usual. Watching television at a high volume. Experiencing dizziness, tinnitus, or worsening of existing tinnitus.
