Pharyngeal foreign body sensation

Pharyngeal foreign body refers to the presence of a foreign body in the pharynx, which is one of the common emergencies in otolaryngology. This condition is common in children, the elderly, anesthetized patients, and psychiatric patients. The main symptoms include a foreign body sensation and stinging pain in the pharynx, or persistent speech impairment (difficulty speaking).
