Laryngeal hemangioma

Laryngeal hemangioma is rare, with a relatively higher incidence in infants and young children. Clinically, it is divided into capillary hemangioma and cavernous hemangioma. Capillary hemangioma consists of clusters of blood vessels with a small amount of connective tissue in between, and is more common in adults or older children. Cavernous hemangioma consists of sinusoidal blood vessels, is soft like a sponge, grows diffusely beneath the mucosa, and is more common in infants and young children. The main symptoms of laryngeal hemangioma include bloody secretions, hoarseness, and cough.
