Detailed description
Auricular pseudocyst, also known as auricular serous perichondritis, auricular non-suppurative perichondritis, or auricular intercartilaginous effusion, refers to a non-purulent serous cyst within the cartilage layers of the auricle. It often occurs in the upper anterior part of one auricle, with serous exudate forming a cystic bulge.
This condition is more common in males, primarily affecting young and middle-aged adults between 20 and 50 years old.
