External auditory canal tumors refer to tumors that occur in the external auditory canal, which can be divided into two types: benign and malignant. Common benign tumors include papilloma, hemangioma, fibroma, external auditory canal exostosis, ceruminous adenoma, and mixed tumor, with papilloma being the most common. Common malignant tumors include squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma, ceruminous adenocarcinoma, and adenoid cystic carcinoma. Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common, and it is often primary.
