Hormone-dependent dermatitis

Hormone-dependent dermatitis is an inflammatory skin disease caused by long-term topical application of glucocorticoid preparations, leading to impaired skin barrier function, resulting in sensitive skin or recurrence and exacerbation of pre-existing skin conditions. The main symptoms include rosacea-like manifestations, hyperpigmentation, increased hair growth, and subjective symptoms such as dryness, tightness, burning, and itching.
