Prurigo nodularis

Prurigo nodularis is a skin condition that causes firm, itchy bumps (nodules) to form on the skin, typically on the limbs. The itching can be intense, leading to scratching that may cause bleeding or pain. Scratching can lead to further skin damage. Prurigo nodularis can occur at all ages, but primarily affects adults between 20 and 60 years old. Males and females are equally affected.
