Cerebellar atrophy

Cerebellar atrophy is not, strictly speaking, a disease, but rather a neuroimaging finding indicating degenerative changes in the cerebellum. It can be observed in various hereditary and degenerative diseases, as well as in certain acute conditions and drug intoxications, and may also result from natural aging. This condition is common in individuals over 60 years of age. Key symptoms include unsteady gait, ataxia, nystagmus, and dysarthria.
