Social anxiety disorder

Social phobia, also known as social anxiety disorder, is an anxiety disorder characterized by a significant and persistent fear of being scrutinized or negatively evaluated by others when in public or interacting with people, worrying about making a fool of oneself or encountering embarrassment in front of others, and therefore making every effort to avoid such situations.
