Cerebral arteriosclerosis

Cerebral arteriosclerosis refers to a pathological condition where the blood vessel walls in the brain undergo degeneration, thickening, and hardening, leading to narrowing or even occlusion of the lumen, or fragility and easy rupture of the vessel walls, due to various causes such as hyperlipidemia and hypertension. It is common in people over 40 years old, presenting with neuropsychiatric symptoms such as headache and dizziness, and cognitive dysfunction.
