Tuberous sclerosis complex, also known as Bourneville-Pringle syndrome or Bourneville disease, is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder affecting multiple systems. This disease can cause benign hamartomas in various organs, including the skin, brain, eyes, mouth, heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, and bones. It primarily manifests with symptoms such as epilepsy, intellectual disability, hypomelanotic macules, and facial angiofibromas.
