Anterior spinal cord syndrome is a syndrome caused by insufficient blood supply from the anterior spinal artery, leading to ischemia in the anterior spinal artery's supply area, thereby causing damage to spinal nerve function.
It often manifests as sudden paralysis (loss of motor function in the lower limbs), low back pain, abnormal sensation in the limbs (inability to feel temperature and pain), and uncontrolled urination and defecation.
