Brown-Séquard syndrome is a clinical complex characterized by ipsilateral upper motor neuron paralysis, loss of deep sensation, impaired fine touch, and vasomotor dysfunction below the lesion level, along with contralateral loss of pain and temperature sensation and preserved bilateral touch sensation, resulting from hemisection or partial damage to a specific segment of the spinal cord. It primarily occurs in the cervical spine.
