Radial nerve palsy

The radial nerve is the main nerve of the posterior cord of the brachial plexus, controlling sensation and movement in the arm and hand, as well as extension of the elbow, wrist, and fingers. Radial nerve palsy is a condition that occurs after the radial nerve is damaged by external factors, leading to muscle weakness, numbness, or even complete paralysis in the shoulder, armpit, arm, and fingers. It typically manifests as numbness and weakness in the muscles from the triceps brachii in the arm to the fingers, with the wrist drooping and an inability to lift it voluntarily.
