Gastritis

Gastritis is an acute or chronic inflammation of the gastric mucosa caused by various factors. It can be broadly classified into acute, chronic, and special types of gastritis. Gastritis is common in individuals with Helicobacter pylori infection, those taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, alcohol consumers, people with irregular eating habits, and those with autoimmune diseases. Symptoms often include epigastric pain, bloating, belching, nausea, loss of appetite, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
