Pancreatitis

Pancreatitis is an inflammatory disease of the pancreatic tissue caused by the autodigestion of pancreatic enzymes, including both acute and chronic forms. The pancreas is an important secretory organ in the human body, not only secreting insulin to regulate blood sugar levels but also secreting various digestive enzymes, especially trypsin, which plays an important role in protein digestion. This disease is more common in males. The main symptoms include abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.
