Halitosis

Halitosis refers to an abnormal odor emanating from the mouth, nose, paranasal sinuses, pharynx, or esophagus, which significantly impacts social interaction and psychological well-being. In some cases, halitosis may be accompanied by other abnormal conditions, such as stomach discomfort or belching. Generally, physiological causes and oral diseases are the main reasons for halitosis, but halitosis can also be a manifestation of other systemic diseases and should be taken seriously.
