Scleroderma

Scleroderma, also known as systemic sclerosis or progressive systemic sclerosis, is a systemic disease characterized by localized or diffuse inflammatory, degenerative, thickening, and fibrotic changes in the skin. It can also affect internal organs such as the lungs, heart, kidneys, and digestive tract. It predominantly affects young and middle-aged women and is primarily characterized by hardening of the skin and internal organs.
