Takayasu arteritis

Takayasu arteritis, also known as pulseless disease, is a chronic, multifocal, non-specific inflammatory disease affecting the aorta and its branches. It typically occurs between the ages of 10 and 40, with 80% to 90% of cases being female. This disease can present with non-specific systemic symptoms such as general malaise, fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, and nausea. Additionally, ischemia may occur in corresponding organs depending on the affected blood vessels.
