Relapsing polychondritis

Relapsing polychondritis is a rare, systemic autoimmune disease that affects cartilage and other connective tissues throughout the body. The clinical manifestations of this disease are diverse, primarily affecting the cartilage in the ears and joints. It can affect males or females of any age, but the incidence is higher between 40 and 60 years of age.
