Mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD) is a clinical syndrome characterized by high titers of speckled antinuclear antibody (ANA) and anti-U1RNP antibody in the serum. It presents with features such as Raynaud's phenomenon, swollen hands, polyarthralgia or arthritis, sclerodactyly, myositis, esophageal dysmotility, and pulmonary hypertension.
