Altitude sickness

Altitude sickness refers to the pathological changes in the nervous, cardiovascular, digestive, and respiratory systems that occur when people who usually live in plains enter high-altitude areas, or ascend from lower to higher altitudes, and are unable to adapt to the hypoxic environment. The main symptoms of altitude sickness include dizziness, headache, limb edema, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and chest tightness.
