Lymphocytic leukemia

Lymphocytic leukemia is a hematological malignancy that affects peripheral blood, lymph nodes, and various organs throughout the body. It can be classified into two types based on the disease progression and the differentiation degree of leukemic cells: Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) Originates from white blood cells in the bone marrow and develops from immature lymphocytes (a type of undeveloped lymphocyte). Typical manifestations include fever, progressive anemia, bleeding, and bone and joint pain. Commonly seen in children. Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) A neoplastic disease characterized by abnormal changes in the morphology and number of lymphocytes. Typical symptoms are fatigue and weakness. More common in middle-aged and elderly individuals.
