Small e-antigen negative

"Small three positives," or hepatitis B "small three positives," refers to a state where serological tests for hepatitis B virus "two pairs and a half" show positive results for hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), hepatitis B e-antibody (anti-HBe), and hepatitis B core antibody (anti-HBc). Clinically, "small three positives" generally indicate two possibilities: one suggests that hepatitis B virus replication is suppressed, which is a sign of good prognosis; the other possibility is that the hepatitis B virus has mutated, remaining infectious and potentially causing liver function damage.
