Detailed description
"Big Three Positive" is a colloquial term referring to a condition in chronic hepatitis B patients where three markers in the hepatitis B virus "two pairs and a half" test are simultaneously positive: hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), hepatitis B e-antigen (HBeAg), and hepatitis B core antibody (HBcAb).
"Big Three Positive" indicates that the hepatitis B virus is actively replicating in the chronic hepatitis B patient and is highly infectious. However, "Big Three Positive" does not necessarily mean that liver function has been damaged.
