Cerebral vascular malformation

Cerebral vascular malformation is a congenital vascular developmental anomaly, primarily characterized by irreversible changes in the structure and number of blood vessels. This leads to impaired blood supply to localized brain tissue, resulting in a series of complications. It is a general term for diseases including arteriovenous malformations, dural arteriovenous fistulas, capillary malformations, and cavernous malformations. This disease is common in young adults, with an average age of diagnosis between 20 and 40 years. In many cases, this disease presents without any clinical symptoms. Possible symptoms include headache, epilepsy, and neurological dysfunction.
