Trigeminal neuralgia

Trigeminal neuralgia is the most common cranial nerve disorder, characterized by recurrent, brief, paroxysmal episodes of severe pain localized to the distribution of the trigeminal nerve (face, mouth, and jaw). This condition primarily affects adults and the elderly, with a higher incidence in women than in men.
