Chordoma

Chordoma is a rare, slow-growing malignant bone tumor, affecting less than one in 100,000 people. It typically occurs in the spine or skull base. Metastasis occurs in 30% to 40% of chordoma patients, especially in advanced stages, with lung metastasis being the most common. It can occur at any age, but the vast majority of chordomas occur in adults, with a higher incidence in males than females.
