Brain metastases

Brain metastases are caused by tumor cells from other parts of the body metastasizing to the brain, and are the most common intracranial tumors in adults. Lung cancer brain metastases are the most common, followed by breast cancer and melanoma, while sarcoma brain metastases are rare. Common symptoms include headache, nausea and vomiting, and limb weakness and numbness.
