Single atrium

Single atrium, also known as cor biloculare, common atrium, or single atrium with three chambers, is a rare congenital heart disease characterized by the absence of development of the interatrial septum during the embryonic period, resulting in a common atrium. However, the interventricular septum is fully developed, leading to a single atrium with a three-chambered heart. The main symptoms of this condition include dyspnea, cyanosis, and clubbing of the fingers.
