Pericardial tumor

Pericardial tumors are neoplasms that develop in the pericardium. They can originate from embryonic remnants or result from the metastasis of malignant tumors from other organs in the body to the pericardium. They are more common in infants and children and can cause symptoms such as precordial and chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, rapid heartbeat, cough, and dizziness.
