Chest wall tumor

Chest wall tumors are a broad category of diseases, referring to tumors that arise in the deep soft tissues and bones of the chest wall, and can grow inward into the thoracic cavity, outward from the chest wall, or in both directions. The incidence of chest wall tumors is low, but their tissue origins are complex and diverse, encompassing both benign and malignant types. Generally, it is believed that all chest wall tumors, regardless of their benign or malignant nature, require surgical resection. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy may also be combined depending on the patient's condition.
