Menopausal syndrome, also known as perimenopausal syndrome, refers to a group of symptoms primarily characterized by autonomic nervous system dysfunction, accompanied by neuropsychological symptoms, caused by fluctuations or decreases in sex hormones around the time of menopause. Epidemiological studies show that the average age of natural menopause for women in China is approximately 50 years old.
