Colorectal cancer refers to a malignant lesion of the colonic mucosal epithelium. It is a common malignant tumor of the digestive tract, with the highest incidence in people aged 40-50, and a higher incidence in males than in females. The onset of this disease is insidious, and there are often no obvious clinical manifestations in the early stage. As the disease progresses, a series of symptoms such as abdominal pain, weight loss and emaciation, changes in bowel habits, and abnormal stool characteristics may appear.
