Gallbladder polyps

Gallbladder polyps refer to excrescences that grow on the mucous membrane of the gallbladder wall. They can be spherical or hemispherical, with or without a stalk, and are mostly benign. Since the nature of gallbladder polyps is difficult to confirm before surgery, they are broadly referred to as gallbladder polypoid lesions or gallbladder protruding lesions. Most patients have no discomfort, while a few may experience upper abdominal fullness and discomfort, or right upper quadrant pain or colic after consuming fatty foods.

Pancreatic cancer

Pancreatic cancer is a group of highly malignant tumors primarily originating from the epithelial cells of the pancreatic ducts and acinar cells. It is characterized by insidious onset, difficulty in early diagnosis, rapid progression, and short survival time, making it one of the malignancies with the worst prognosis, often referred to as the "king of cancers." Early-stage pancreatic cancer typically presents no symptoms. By the time symptoms appear, the disease has usually progressed to an advanced stage. Common symptoms include jaundice, abdominal pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting.
