Femoral head necrosis
Femoral head necrosis
Avascular necrosis of the femoral head is a condition characterized by ischemia and necrosis of bone cells, fracture of trabeculae, and collapse of the femoral head due to insufficient blood supply to the femoral head. This disease is common in people aged 30-50 years. Early stages may be asymptomatic, but as the disease progresses, symptoms such as pain in the hip or groin, limited hip mobility, and limping may occur.
