Thyroid nodules are lumps that appear in the thyroid tissue due to abnormal proliferation of thyroid cells. Some nodules are solid, while others are filled with fluid. Thyroid nodules are very common, and most are not serious and do not cause any symptoms. It is rare for thyroid nodules to progress to thyroid cancer. Hypoglycemia is a clinical syndrome caused by various etiologies, characterized by a decrease in plasma (or serum) glucose levels, generally ≤ 2.8 mmol/L, sufficient to cause corresponding symptoms and signs, which then subside when plasma glucose concentration rises. It is common in diabetic patients and can be asymptomatic or accompanied by discomforts such as palpitations, sweating, fatigue, and pallor.
