Epilepsy
Epilepsy
Epilepsy is a chronic brain disorder characterized by highly synchronized abnormal discharges of brain neurons, leading to recurrent, transient, and paroxysmal brain dysfunction. Epilepsy can occur in people of all ages, but it is more common in children and the elderly. The main symptoms of epilepsy are recurrent seizures without warning, such as falling, body twitching or spasms, staring blankly, gazing forward, abnormal sensations, and fainting.
