Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a malignant tumor originating from the mucosal epithelium of the nasopharynx, predominantly occurring on the superior and lateral walls of the nasopharynx, especially in the pharyngeal recess. It is one of the common malignant tumors in China. Common symptoms include blood-tinged nasal discharge, nasal obstruction, tinnitus, and hearing loss.
