Pityriasis alba, also known as simple pityriasis, facial dry pityriasis, streptococcal pityriasis, and streptococcal erythema, commonly referred to as "peach blossom rash" or "worm spots," is a chronic skin condition of unknown etiology characterized by dry, thin, pityriasiform scaly hypopigmented patches. It is common in children and adolescents aged 3-16 years, more prominent in individuals with darker skin, and more likely to occur in those with an allergic constitution.

Erythema multiforme is an acute inflammatory skin disease characterized by target-shaped or iris-like erythematous lesions, often symmetrically distributed on the extremities, frequently accompanied by mucosal involvement, and prone to recurrence. This disease is more common in spring and autumn, with a slightly higher incidence in males than females, and the highest incidence occurring between 10 and 30 years of age.
