Nasal meningoencephalocele refers to the protrusion of meninges and brain tissue into the nasal root or nasal cavity through congenitally malformed cranial sutures or skull defects. This condition is classified into internal and external types, primarily presenting as a round mass on the upper part of the nasal bridge, or symptoms such as nasal obstruction, feeding difficulties, and incessant crying.
