Malignant granuloma
Malignant granuloma
Malignant granuloma, also known as lethal midline granuloma or necrotizing granuloma, is a rare granulomatous disease of unknown etiology characterized by progressive necrotizing ulcers. This disease often begins in the nose and gradually extends to the hard and soft palate, nasopharynx, and upper lip. The affected areas rapidly develop erosions and ulcers. In later stages, metastasis may occur, ultimately leading to death from systemic failure, with a very poor prognosis.
