They connect to the urethra via the ejaculatory ducts. The mucus secreted by the seminal vesicles is a component of semen. Seminal vesiculitis is an infectious inflammation of the seminal vesicles, mostly caused by bacteria, with a small number of cases attributed to mycoplasma and chlamydia. The main symptoms include hematospermia, frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, and painful ejaculation.

Urinary incontinence, commonly known as "leaking urine," refers to the involuntary leakage of urine. This condition can affect patients of all age groups, but it is more common in older adults. Based on its etiology and clinical characteristics, urinary incontinence can be classified into stress urinary incontinence, urge urinary incontinence, mixed urinary incontinence, overflow urinary incontinence, and total urinary incontinence.
