Laryngeal stenosis refers to a disease characterized by deformity, collapse, or defect of the laryngeal cartilage framework, scar formation of the laryngeal mucosa, and hyperplasia of submucosal tissue, leading to narrowing or closure of the laryngeal cavity, resulting in respiratory and vocal dysfunction. The main symptoms include hoarseness, laryngeal stridor, cough, and dyspnea.
