Nasal furuncle

Nasal furuncle is a localized acute suppurative inflammation of the hair follicles, sebaceous glands, or sweat glands in the nasal vestibule. It primarily occurs in the nasal vestibule, occasionally on the nasal tip or ala nasi, and is a common disease in rhinology. The main symptoms are localized suppurative inflammation in the nasal vestibule, characterized by redness, swelling, heat, and pain, which may be accompanied by general discomfort or low-grade fever.

Foreign body in nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses

Nasal and paranasal sinus foreign bodies refer to the retention of foreign or endogenous substances in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses due to various reasons. According to the source of the foreign body, it can be divided into exogenous foreign bodies and endogenous foreign bodies. This disease is common in young children, and common symptoms include unilateral nasal obstruction, purulent nasal discharge or bloody streaks in the discharge, and a foul odor from the nasal cavity.
